Get there before the crowd
with Moroccan Sands
The stretch of coastline between Tangier and Asilah was recently tipped by CNN to be “the next French Riviera” chiefly because of the similar landscapes of the Cote d’Azur and Asilah. As you drive along the coast road lined with silver birch and pine you can gaze across the fields of deep-purple and mustard-yellow wildflowers, to the wide stretches of pristine beach beyond.
Just south of the picturesque fishing village of Asilah on a plot gently sloping down to the sea lies Seaside Asilah, an exclusive project of one, two and three bedroom apartments all with panoramic views over the ocean or surrounding countryside. This high quality project is offered in conjunction with a British developer who has extensive experience of construction in Morocco and who has already successfully completed on many apartments.
The resort features low rise blocks arranged around a central swimming pool(s). Each apartment has a terrace from which to marvel at the epic “big sky” sunsets that are a feature of this coast. Seaside Asilah will also feature all the necessary on-site facilities for the holiday maker including three lagoon-style swimming pools, a supermarket, an apart hotel and a bar/restaurant.
The apartments in Seaside Asilah are designed to appeal to the second home and holiday rental market. They are compact and designed to be easily maintained and furnished. The internal layout of the apartments is family friendly with access to the terrace from the main salon or living room, as well as from the master bedrooms in some apartments.
The project can be reached in around 15 minutes drive from Tangier International Airport and if you wish to explore the souks and Medina of Tangier City it’s only a short 20 minute drive into town.
Asilah - The Artist's town
With its atmospheric souk, pretty harbour, ancient defensive walls and delightful pavement cafes, the nearby town of Asilah has been popular with visitors for many years. Asilah is also home to a thriving artist colony which soon becomes evident with a stroll through the maze-like streets of the old souk, where around nearly every corner the visitor is greeted by colourful murals painted on the wall of the artist’s houses.
Every summer the town attracts over 100,000 people to its Literary Festival which is held in the new Hassan II International Meeting Center, funded by investment from Prince Bandar bin Sultan of Saudi Arabia who has been a long term visitor to the town.
